TergAZyme Enzyme Active Powdered Detergent is a concentrated, anionic detergent with protease enzyme for manual and ultrasonic cleaning. It is excellent for the removal of any type of proteinaceous soils, tissue, blood, and body fluids from glassware, metals, plastic, ceramic, porcelain, rubber and fiberglass with no interfering residues. Ideal as a cleaning agent in reverse osmosis and ultra-filtration systems. USDA authorized.

Biopharmaceutical applications:

TergAZyme is widely used in biopharmaceutical applications. Note that the US FDA (United States Food and Drug Administration) and other regulatory agencies both in the USA and in other countries, do not expressed approve the use of any specific detergent or type of detergent. They do, however, require manufacturers to adhere to cGMP (current good manufacturing practices), which requires a cleaning validation. TergAZyme is a good choice for a biopharmaceutical/cGMP application. Note that TergAZyme has no bovine origin. The protease in TergAZyme is derived from lichen.

As far as we are concerned, the main thing to be aware of with TergAZyme is that all the enzyme has been inactivated in the event of inadvertent poor rinsing.

Use instructions:

Dilute 1: 100 for most applications. At this dilution the pH is 9.5.
