SPI Supplies Gold Crystal Specimen for Calibrating on Lattice Spacings
The SPI Supplies Gold Crystal Specimen consists of an ultra-thin layer of gold grown epitaxially into single crystals that are oriented to display the lattice spacings of 0.102nm, 0.143nm (220 plane), and 0.204nm (200 plane). These are physical constants of a specific crystal structure and are therefore ideal resolution, image quality, magnification and instrumental stability calibration specimens for the magnification of any TEM capable of resolving the lattice spacings. Excellent for use when height adjustments are made on the specimen stage.
The gold foils are mounted on 3.05mm diameter gold 300 mesh grids.
