This mount (02753-AB) contains a set of 53 minerals and compounds (analyses provided with purchase), carefully selected on the basis of their homogeneity within and between grains as well as for their stability under vacuum, atmospheric pressure and under an electron beam. Some of the materials are synthetic, resulting in an even better degree of homogeneity. The mount comes standard with a built in Faraday cup (FC).
All 53 minerals are mounted in one 25mm diameter, 6mm thick non-magnetic stainless steel disc, which is ideal for maximum conductivity and high vacuum compatibility.
