SPI Metal Foil Standards for AEM

Diamond knife ultramicrotomed and supported on a Be grid for EDS in a TEM

These high purity standard metal foils are thin-sectioned using diamond knife ultramicrotomy and mounted on beryllium TEM grids. This family of products, exclusively available from SPI, are the ideal calibration tool for analytical electron microscopy (AEM). Sections are typically 80 to 100 nm in thickness, depending on metal.

Grids are shipped in an SPI Slide-A-Grid Grid Storage Box system.
