Support your local agents and distributors so that they can do an even
better job serving your future needs!
Remember that SPI has organized itself to deal at all times with our
worldwide customers how they want to deal with SPI. If you want to deal via one
of our outstanding worldwide distributors, agents and representatives, that is
going to be just fine with us. And if your preference is to deal directly with
SPI in the USA, that is just fine also.
Just always remember that there are a few subtle differences between dealing
directly with SPI vs. dealing with one of our agent, distributors or
representatives:
Foreign agents and distributors:
Always remember that prices quoted by local agents and distributors will in general be different and
probably in local currency, shipping, customs duties, and customs clearance included, or Direct
Order from USA:
Follow USA ordering procedures to place a direct order always
remembering that website prices are FOB prices and that shipping, insurance, customs brokerage fees,
customs duties, other local taxes, plus other charges not now anticipated will be additional and strictly
for the account of the customer. Keep also in mind that credit card payments are always
welcome and there is no extra fee added for the privilege of making payment
through the use of a credit card account. However, if funds are wired into
our account from outside the USA, we are charged a fee of $30.00 by our bank.
Therefore be sure to add $30.00 to each wire transfer payment in order to cover
banking fees on our end. Of course, if payment is made by way of a paper
draft, in US dollars drawn on an account at a US bank, there is no fee
whatsoever and nothing additional is added in the way of charges to your
account.
