Assistant to experienced webmaster:

We are seeking candidates who would serve as an assistant to our experienced webmaster and chief designer. The successful candidate should have experience with HTML, Javascript, and Perl. We expect the successful candidate to have had some experience in the building of a new page, incorporation of graphics and clip images into the page and other aspects of the workings of a commercial website.

Desirable but not necessary experience and capabilities would include:

For part time workers we see this as an opportunity for students interested in having the experience of working on a commercial website and with an exciting and experienced website and business management team. Hours can be flexible to fit in with course schedules. For full time applicants, we look for a hard worker and someone who can focus on their work and pay attention to detail at a level that the website will continue to look professional and appeal to our generally scientific and technical customer base.

We are seeking an experienced, motivated customer service representative to help us handle our growing international laboratory supply business. Heavy customer contact by telephone and e-mail. Order entry, invoicing, expediting, no travel and no quotas. Hours could be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Packaging Technician

Fast growing West Chester distributor of laboratory supplies is looking for an individual to work in our packaging department. Duties include inventory supervision of packaging materials, chemical handling, and private labeling of incoming products, maintaining an organized and clean work area. This person will be required to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience a plus, but will train. Full-time position. Competitive salary & benefits (401K & Health Insurance). EOE . Electron Microscope Grid Maker

We are seeking candidates to enter our unique apprentice program that will lead to learning the art of electron microscope sample preparation and grid making. A college degree is not required but would be a plus.

Packaging Assistant

Ideal for a local student needing flex hours to fit in with class schedules. Duties would include incoming quality assurance and inspection of incoming materials, small lot packaging of SPI products according to standard of ISO Guide 9000 and labeling of these products which are sold to electron, light, and scanning probe microscope laboratories worldwide. Opportunity for full time employment over school breaks and summer vacation.

Laboratory Technician

Ideal for local student needing flex hours to fit in with class schedules. Duties would include working during our "peak" periods of business activity which would include assisting in the production of products of SPI Supplies, testing and inspection of products made by SPI Supplies and also as backup support for our analytical services business mainly in the areas of sample preparation.

Opportunity for full time employment over school breaks and summer vacation.

Office/Clerical/Customer Service

Ideal for a local student, including high school, needing truly flex hours to fit into class schedules. Duties would involve basic office needs, such as filing, order entry, and a limited amount of phone answering and customer service.

Preference would be given to this person for full time employment over school breaks and summer vacation.

Electronics Technician

Experienced electronics technician to assist with the development of new instrumentation and equipment in the growing family of SPI Supplies sample preparation equipment and instruments. Would be expected to provide telephone assistance to existing customers of SPI products. Ideal for someone retired and looking for a "second career".
