Santovac® 5GB Ultra High Vacuum Grease

Thermal/Oxidation Stability Data

The excellent stability of Santovac 5GB Polyphenyl High Vacuum Grease is shown by its good performance in oxidation and corrosion tests at temperatures as high as 315-371°C (600-700°F).

The thermal stability (isoteniscope) is quoted at 543°C (847°F).

Oxidation-Corrosion Test:
This was done via a modified FS 791, Method 5308.2; 48 hours at temperature, 5 liter/hr air flow.
