SPI Supplies Grease Removal Solutions
Some grease can be removed with the right solvents
and diluents!
There are many times a user of vacuum grease has the need to remove the
grease from a surface. And some of the most popular vacuum greases are
indeed the most difficult to remove because of the inability of common
laboratory cleaning solvents to remove at least some of these greases.
Indeed the problem can be so exasperating, that greases are often times
selected, not necessarily on the basis of their vapor pressure or off-
gassing characteristics, but on the basis of how easily the grease can be
removed from surfaces in which it has had contact!
We have indicated the main different classes of vacuum greases and for each,
we have provided information for their removal.
