Molded PTFE Tweezers

These high quality molded PTFE tweezers are outstanding for use at cryo temperatures, the retrival of samples quenched in liquid nitrogen or other coolants, or of the general handling of parts that are being kept cold, such as one working around a cryo-SEM laboratory. The characteristics of the tweezers also make them ideal, because of their chemical inertness, for use around acids and bases, high solvency organics, or in other words the environment one would find in the typical materials science laboratory. This also means they can be used at elevated temperatures, up to approximately 300°C (and up to roughly 315°C for short periods).

Also an ideal helper around any darkroom environment because these tweezers absolutely will not corrode. These tweezers are made from PTFE homopolymer and are not to be confused with similarly appearing products made from lower melting PTFE copolymers.

Dimensions:
127 mm long x 12 mm wide with rounded tips of radius of curvature of approximately 3 mm.
