These fine handcrafted tweezers are ideal for student use, either for standard microdissection work or even for electron microscopy. However, the tips of these tweezers will not be quite the quality as the regular SPI tweezers and one should not have the expectations that these tweezers are in fact going to have that high quality.
However, the pricing will be quite attractive for those in circumstances not requiring the highest quality in tweezers and worldwide there are many happy users, including high school science classes, using the StudenTek quality tweezers.
