SPI Supplies offers the family of Strong Blunt Tip Tweezers for those applications where high precision is not required, but good grasping characteristics are important. Made in Switzerland, the origins of the world's finest tweezers, each is a precision crafted instrument, essentially hand made, and carefully inspected before shipment for exact alignment of the tips. The tweezers are made from "Swiss Surgical" antimagnetic stainless steel and therefore, in addition to the favorable characteristics with respect to magnetism, are also highly corrosion resistant and are much more corrosion resistant than the more common ordinary stainless steel.

Upon special order these tweezers can be supplied either nickel plated or PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coated. However, the order minimums would be 12 dozen per pattern and delivery times up to three months.

Applications for bird feeding:
The family of "strong blunt tipped tweezers" shown on this page are some times referred to as "bird feeding" tweezers because the serrations keep bird feed in place yet the tips are not sharp enough to cause harm to a bird approaching the tweezer.
