Introduction:
The SPI Supplies vacuum tweezers have been designed for lifting the most delicate of flat specimens (specimens that can not be handled with mechanical tweezers).

A flat specimen is delicately suctioned into place by either a rubber "rubber bulb" or fine tube; use your fingertip to block the air hole on the handle, thus creating a vacuum that will hold the specimen in place. The specimen is released when the finger is released from the air hole. Nothing could be easier to use than the SPI Vacuum Tweezers.

Ready to use:
This is an all self-contained system which has everything needed to start using the SPI Vacuum Tweezer immediately. It comes standard with three different nozzle sizes: 0.4mm, 0.7mm and 1.0mm.

The SPI Vacuum Tweezers vs. "hand held" units:
Some vacuum tweezers fit completely into the hand and are some times referred to as being completely "hand held". We have evaluated a number of such designs over the years, and none of them worked very well for picking up typical work pieces, generally because they did not have sufficient suction power. As a result, we do not offer a completely hand-held unit. However, most customers originally expecting a completely hand held unit seem to be very happy with the performance of the SPI Vacuum Tweezers.

What is included in the basic "package":
The SPI Vacuum Tweezers includes the vacuum pump and one complete set of the SPI #00010A-AB Spare Nozzles and Tubing, including the three different nozzle sizes: 0.4mm, 0.7mm and 1.0mm.
