Honing Rx Systems II Image The Rx Honing System offered by SPI Supplies is designed for resharpening and reconditioning all small laboratory instruments, including forceps, scalpels, knives, probes and tweezers. A space efficient bench-top design, it can be used with most tools found in the EM lab except of course, diamond knives. Includes both grinding (rotary) and honing (back and forth) capabilities for all delicate edge conditioning needs. The system is designed for foot pedal control, leaving both hands free to guide the instrument being sharpened. The system is quiet and virtually dust-free in operation. The basic system includes an assortment of leather, ceramic and diamond hones along with complete videotaped operation instructions.

Dimensions: 4" (10.2 cm) deep x 5" (12.7 cm) high x 7" (17.8 cm) wide.
