SPI Big Mitts™ Foam Swabs
The SPI Big Mitts™ feature a large foam head thermally bonded to 5" (127 mm) polypropylene handles. Both
the foam head and the handles are solvent resistant to most common laboratory solvents and are ideal for use
with liquids of high solvency that tend to dissolve other plastic materials.
Obviously, neither the hear or the handles are PTFE, and there are of course, many organic liquids that will
dissolve both polymers but for the most part, this combination of polyurethane and polypropylene has shown
to be a highly reliable combination, over the long term.
