The new Parafilm^® Florist Stem Wrap is similar to the original Parafilm^® M Laboratory Sealing Film and the more recently developed Parafilm^® Grafting Tape.

Technical differences:
The main difference is that the new product contains a different amount of polyolefin and wax, therefore the final finished product does not require a slip sheet between layers of the roll. So in addition to a convenience factor, associated with the absence of a slip sheet, the product does exhibit properties that make it somewhat more appealing if not also more convenient for florist applications.

Applications:
The product is a self-sealing tape for finishing corsage and wedding bouquet stems, floral novelties, silk or dried flowers and offers superior performance in applications requiring extra stretching and water proofing. Additionally, the new product is know for its:

• Exceptional stretchability up to four times its original length means less wrap is used and a less-bulky, more professional floral product results
• Polyolefin content ensures a smooth, clean and bright finish to enhance appearance, particularly for weddings
• Superior water proofing keeps water in to extend the flower's life or keeps it away from outer wrappings
• Prevents leaking in covered water tubes
• Available in three different colors (green, white and brown) and in 1/2" (12.5 mm) width, and white and green in 1" (25.4 mm) widths.
