Polystyrene slide box for 1x3" (25x75 mm) microscope slides

The slide boxes are molded from white, shock resistant plastic and were the main slide boxes offered by SPI Supplies for many years until recently replaced with our line of colored boxes.

The box is designed with a hinged top and is designed to make slide retrieval from an archiving system to be fast and simple. We have seen these boxes dropped on hard floors and not crack (but slides inside might break!).

Each box is secured with a nickel-plated clasp and hinge pin. The bottom is lined with natural cork which is designed to minimize damage to the edges of the slides.

To ensure proper slide identification, each slot is numbered to correspond to the slide inventory sheet on the inside cover of the box. Boxes stack on top of each other for space efficient storage.
