This is a reflected light micrograph of polished, carbon coated synthetic antimony telluride crystals. The identifying etched label, which is a feature of our standards, is invaluable for navigating in an electron beam instrument. This standard provides a reference for the element tellurium, as well as another source of antimony besides #44 stibnite.
