For the resolution of lattice planes and spacings, this specimen is easy to
use and provides a convenient test sample. This spacing being measured is
1.0 nm. However, this particular specimen is also beam sensitive and does
not have the durability as some other samples. However, it is often times
favored because of its ease of use and also, low price. Supplied on a
3.05 mm 200 mesh copper grid.
