Below you see eight examples of standard items from which grains can be acquired on an individual basis for your own processing. Point to any of these images and you will see what the material is; clicking will take you to the details.
The "loose grain" option is offered in cases where the grains are of sufficiently uniform and large size that mounting can be performed without fear of damage or loss.

- In the DYOS pages you will find photographs of typical grains for each item.
- The shapes are usually cubes or cylinders, though more irregular grains also exist, as you see in the two images at the top right.
- Items which are sold loose are identified by a "loose" shopping cart.
- Only one grain of each will be supplied.
- Satisfaction guaranteed! As the composition of an individual grain cannot be measured without mounting it, and as
it is useless to us after a customer has processed it, we offer the assurance that if the composition of an item can be shown to be other than that posted on our web page, we will replace it with another grain of the same item or, if the customer prefers, a different item. Failing that, the purchase price will be refunded.
