The SPI Supplies brand of magnetic stirring bars, sometimes called "stir bars", are composed of one of the most powerful permanent magnet alloys available, Alinico V, and are encapsulated in pure PTFE. The are offered in four different styles. These magnetic stirring bars are designed for use with the Nuova® II Hot Plate/Stirrer or any of the many other magnetic stirrers of this type. And, make retrieval easy with the SPI Magnetic Spin Bar retrievers.
