SPI-Pore™ Special Membranes

Membranes for Chemotaxis

Chinese

Chemotaxis is the phenomenon of cellular migration toward a chemical stimulus. The effect has been used extensively in studies of the immune reaction mechanism.

With their characteristic straight-through, cylindrical pores, the SPI-Pore chemotaxis membranes allow rapid cell migration and reduce incubation time.

SPI-Pore polycarbonate membranes for chemotaxis are available in standard pore sizes from 3 -14 µm, without the standard wetting agent, PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone), and in discs of 13 and 25 mm and rectangles of 25x80 mm.

As we develop our website offerings, if you do not see your desired pore size or geometry, let us know what you do need and we can respond accordingly.
