Chemical formula: ZnSe CAS #1315-09-9 Purity: 99.99% M.W.: 144.33 Specific Gravity: 5.421 Crystal habit: Cubic This is high purity zinc selenide powder and chunks for deposition onto substrates using a metal boat. The product is also of the quality that would be required for the electronics or fine optics industries whenever high quality coatings of ZnSe are needed. The high 99.999% purity should not be confused with ZnSe of much lower purity and therefore is offered at a much lower price. This is definitely what one would call "electronic" grade for use in the most exacting of applications.
