SPI Replacement Sputter Coater Cathodes
Precious metals recycling program
When the "remains" of the spent cathode are returned to SPI Supplies, at the
time of placement of a new order for a
replacement sputter coater cathode, SPI will grant a 10% discount off
the purchase price of the new cathode.
We believe that this is the responsible way to approach the disposition of
spent cathodes, since after all, we are talking about non-renewable resources.
Follow this simple procedure:
1.
Send us an e-mail message.
2. Make sure that your purchasing department issues the appropriate purchase
order for the shipment of the replacement cathodes.
Should you return spent cathode "left overs" in excess of the number of
cathodes being ordered, some additional credit may be given, however the
extent of that additional credit will be at the sole discretion of SPI.
We thank you for participating in the SPI Precious Metals Recycling Program.
We take our responsibilities for environmental protection and non-renewable
resource conservation very seriously. If you have any questions about our
program, in operation since 1980, please let us know. Over the years of the
existence of this program, literally hundreds of users of sputter coaters in
the microscopy and microanalysis market have been able to have their spent
cathodes recycled. Additionally, those participating have also enjoyed the
benefit of reduced prices on purchased replacement cathodes.
If you should have any suggestions as to how we might be able to expand our
recycling program let us know. We are always open to suggestions.
