This phosphor powder is for those who wish to recoat their own TEM viewing screens. This particular powder is selected because of its free flowing nature and easy to formulate characteristics. This powder should not to be used on aluminum coated discs. Historically, TEM screen coatings have been based on cadmium containing phosphors, however, because of concerns about safety and toxicity, the SPI phosphor contains no cadmium.
