Use the YAP and forget about any driving need to change the PMT since the maximum output of the YAP is almost identical to the point where the PMT has maximum sensitivity, and since the output wavelength for the YAP is almost identical to that of the P-47, there is just no need to talk about changing scintillators.

Always install coated side facing the sample.
