These rubber-modified high impact polystyrene boats resist temperatures to
93°C/200°F and are easily flexed for easy pouring. The boats have
a shallow shape, yet are wide, and the very flat bottom makes the boat
quite tip-resistant. The boats are also biologically inert and are
chemically resistant to dilute and weak acids, aqueous solutions,
alcohols and bases.
Microwave applications:
The SPI plastic weighing boats may be used with microwave moisture analyzers.
Antistatic considerations:
The plastic used is one of the most modern antistatic plastic formulations,
but remember that it is plastic and plastic is certainly not ever going to
