The Magna-Sight™ Enlarger Magnifying Focusing Device can be focused on any area of
the projected image from corner to corner, not just the center. It helps to produce
needle-sharp, dust-free enlargements with minimum effort. It can be individually
adjusted for precise and accurate focus. Magnification is 10X.
Customers tell us that they like this particular design for a number of
different reasons, but the most often cited reason is the large exit pupil.
The most efficient way of using the Magna-Sight™ is to find an area of the negative
that has very sharp contrast, such as one with distinct edges. When the image does not
have such areas, if there are sprocket holes, focus on them. Other films have imprinted
information on the film which makes a nice focusing aid.
For some users, the Micro-Sight™ Grain Focusing Magnifier might be more
convenient.
Construction is of metal with a weighted base for good stability. |
