Slim Edge^® Light Pad

Use of the newest manufacturing technology makes possible this extremely thin light box, so thin in fact, we can't even call it a box, it has to be called a "pad". Known for its very high illumination characteristics, it features a 8" x 10" (20.3 x 25.4 cm) viewing surface for viewing slides or negatives (in transparency form). The Pad is based on two color-corrected 5400K lamps with 20,000 hours lifetime. It is highly versatile and can be used flat on a table, standing at an incline, or hung flat on a wall. The Light Pad has also been designed to display photo transparencies held under a clear plastic panel. And there is no problem fitting it into a typical brief case. Power is from a 12V, AC/DC adapter.

New larger viewing area model available! We were constantly asked for a model of this design but with a larger viewing area and that now is possible with the introduction of the new Model A-3A. It features a viewing area of 11 1/2" x 16" and a thickness of only 3/4". The unit features two 5400K color corrected lamps with an expected useful lifetime of 20,000 hours. The viewing panel has an opening to display transparencies. Powered by 12v AC adaptor.
