KODAK® PHOTO-FLO® 200
Solution (Liquid)
Each bottle of concentrate makes 24 gallons (84 liters) of working solution.
Photo-Flo is an indispensable item for any dark room associated
with an EM lab because it reduces water surface tension, thereby
minimizing, in fact usually eliminating, drying streaks and water
marks on all film and plates. Another important benefit: Dramatically
reduces drying time! An absolute "must" for any "quick turnaround" laboratory.
Interesting note:
Are you someone who has ended up with annoying water marks on some important
film? You might be able to rescue the film so long as it has not be dried
at too hot of a temperature. Assuming the film has not been
overheated, it can be water soaked, using Photo-Flo, with the use of gentle
and careful rubbing on the watermarked areas, followed by a new drying cycle,
but not above 100° F (38°C). In many instances, following this procedure
with Photo-Flo can "save" otherwise damaged film. This approach will work
both with Kodak® films as well as the
MACO® films.
