KODAK D-19® Film Developer (Powder) KODAK D-19 Developer is widely used in electron microscopy laboratories for developing electron microscope films. KODAK® Fixer (Powder) Each package makes one gallon (3.8 liters) working solution. This is a general purpose hardening fixer for film, paper, plates. This one fixer can handle virtually all your darkroom needs! No need to stock multiple types. Fixing times: Unlike developers where time, concentration, strength, and temperature can be critical, these parameters where fixers are concerned do not have to be precisely controlled. A generally accepted bit of advice is that the fixing time (other factors being equal) should be about double the time needed to clear the emulsion. An alternative approach is to compare the film-clearing time with that of a fresh batch of fixer. When the clearing time becomes more than double that for the new fixer, it is time to change the fixer. Contents: Net weight: 25 oz.(739g)

KODAK® PHOTO-FLO® 200 Solution (Liquid) Each bottle of concentrate makes 24 gallons (84 liters) of working solution. Photo-Flo is an indispensable item for any dark room associated with an EM lab because it reduces water surface tension, thereby minimizing, in fact usually eliminating, drying streaks and water marks on all film and plates. Another important benefit: Dramatically reduces drying time! An absolute "must" for any "quick turnaround" laboratory. Interesting note: Are you someone who has ended up with annoying water marks on some important film? You might be able to rescue the film so long as it has not be dried at too hot of a temperature. Assuming the film has not been overheated, it can be water soaked, using Photo-Flo, with the use of gentle and careful rubbing on the watermarked areas, followed by a new drying cycle, but not above 100° F (38°C). In many instances, following this procedure with Photo-Flo can "save" otherwise damaged film. This approach will work both with Kodak® films as well as the MACO® films. KODAK® Indicator Stop Bath® (Liquid) Each bottle of concentrate makes 8 gallons (30.3 liters) of stop bath indicator.
