Special purchase of JBEM Services Left Over Inventory
Sometime in the fall of 1998, JBEM Services, which had served customers in
Canada for many years, offering for light and electron microscope users
equipment, consumables, accessories, and supplies, closed their doors and
SPI Supplies, along with others, were invited to bid on the left over
inventory. In December 1998, SPI Supplies consummated a purchase agreement
of most of the remaining inventory, which was all shipped to SPI in the USA
and now that remaining inventory is being made available for sale through
the SPI Supplies Factory Outlet Store. Products that were just outdated or
not in otherwise good usable condition were either discarded or given away
to deserving parties.
Products offered from the JBEM purchase will be slowly added to the Factory
Outlet Store, as time permits. You can be sure that any items offered this
way are of the same high quality as when they were being sold by JBEM
Services.
Should you have been a customer of a JBEM product and you are seeking to
continue experiments that might be altered by a switch to some other brand,
we are sufficiently familiar with the JBEM product line that we can
recommend in most cases, a "plug in compatible" replacement. For our
Canadian customers, keep in mind that these products can also be purchased
via SPI Supplies/CANADA.
