         Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide

Special Conditions to Avoid:

Do not inhale aerosol of this product.

Extinguishing Media:

In general, use the extinguishing media suitable for the surrounding
fire since realistically, this product is present only in small
quantities. If there fire is strictly involving this product, then
use dry chemicals, CO2, water spray.

Fire Fighting Instructions:

Extinguishing media: Use extinguishing media suitable for the
                                surrounding fire.

Fire and explosion hazard: May evolve toxic fumes in fire or when
                                      heated.

Section 6: Accidental Release Measures

Release response:

Shut off all sources of ignition.

Note that surfaces containing this spilled material will be
slippery and therefore constitute a slip hazard.

Absorb with inert material (e.g. sand, diatomaceous earth, acid
absorbent, sawdust).

Section 7: Handling and Storage

Handling:

Use only in a chemical fume hood. Keep away from all sources of
ignition. Do not smoke when handling this material.

Storage:

Requirements for storage areas and containers: Store in closed
containers away from all sources of ignition.

Section 8: Exposure Controls and Personal Protection

Engineering Controls:

Use only in a chemical fume hood. Do not exceed the threshold
            limits.

Personal Protection:

Inhalation: Use only in a chemical fume hood.

Skin: Protective clothing such as long sleeves or a lab coat
should be worn, especially when working with larger quantities
than a small 30 ml bottle.

Eye: Always use safety glasses, even for work with small
quantities, such as the making of positive replicas.
