OSHA PEL TWA of 3 ppm. Carbonyl fluoride has an ACGIL TLV and OSHA PEL TWA
of 2 ppm (5 mg/m3).

Section 6: Accidental Release Measures

General Information:
Keep unnecessary personnel away. Wear suitable protective gear.

Spills/Leaks:

Large spills:
Wear appropriate protective clothing. Stop source of leak
if possible. Dike, contain spill and recover free liquid.
Prevent entry into waterways. Soak up residue with an inert
absorbent such as clay, sand or other suitable materials;
Store and dispose of properly.

Small spills:
Soak up spill with inert absorbent. Store in a closed, liquid-proof
container and dispose of properly.

Personal Protection in case of a large spill:
Chemical splash goggles, full protective suit, boots, gloves. Consult a
specialist BEFORE handling a large spill.
