least 15 minutes, holding the eyelids open. Seek immediate medical attention.
Skin: Flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15
minutes. If irritation develops or persists, seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If
victim is conscious and alert, give several cupfuls of milk or water. Seek
immediate medical attention.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. If breathing is difficult,
supply oxygen. If breathing stops, use artificial respiration.
Section 5: Fire Fighting Measures
General Information:
Protective Equipment/Clothing: Wear a NIOSH approved positive pressure
self-contained breathing apparatus and firefighter turnout gear. There could
be the evolution of toxic products of combustion. Firefighting equipment
should be fully decontaminated after use.
Extinguishing Media:
Use water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or foam.
Section 6: Accidental Release Measures
General Information:
Personal precautions: Do not attempt to take action without suitable
protective clothing. Do not create dust so that there are air borne
particulates that could be inhaled.
Environmental precautions:
Do not discharge into drains, rivers, or lakes.
Release response:
Sweep up or vacuum material, place in suitable disposal container, and retain
for recycle or disposal. When pickup is complete, wash contaminated area. Do
not flush spilled material to the sewer or the environment. Waste materials
should be put into a labeled disposal container for disposal according to
local regulations. Dispose of in accordance with all federal, state and local
regulations.
Section 7: Handling and Storage
Handling:
Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not
generate dust. Avoid breathing dust, or contact with skin, eyes, clothing.
Wash clothing before reuse.
Storage:
Store in tightly closed containers in cool, dry area. Keep away from
excessive heat and from oxidizing agents.
