Introduction:

We now can offer a high quality glassy carbon powder which has been made from SPI-Glas 11 grade starting material. The powders can be made by two different routes, "splintered" and "spherical". We won't go into the details of the process by which these are made, but they have the same high temperature and other characteristics as the bulk glassy carbon.

SPI-Glas™ Brand Glassy (Vitreous) Carbon Powders are now only available in one grade of glassy carbon, SPI-Glas 11, at this time.
