Introduction:
The SPI-Glas™ Glassy Carbon Electron Beam Evaporation Crucibles are cylindrical in shape ranging in volume capacity from 1.8 ml to 30ml. If you contemplate using a glassy carbon crucible for electron beam evaporation, or any other application for that matter, before you place any orders, you should be familiar with some of the extensive information we have accumulated relative to the use of glassy carbon crucibles generally and the SPI-Glas Glassy Carbon Crucibles specifically.

Precaution:
The SPI-Glas™ Brand Glassy Carbon Crucibles should never be used for the melting and evaporation of chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloys. Similarly, they should not be used for melting anything that easily carbides, for example silicon or tungsten.
