The SPI Supplies® Brand Magnifying Rulers are made from crystal clear optical quality acrylic plastic, providing a distortion free image. Two different products are available, one with a fixed 1.5x magnification and the other with 2x and a small area of 8x. Standard magnifying ruler, 1.5x: This short compact optical measuring and magnification device is small enough to conveniently fit into a shirt pocket of woman's purse.

High Power Magnifying Ruler, 2x and 8x The unique design features a built in high power aspheric lens for higher magnification viewing when necessary. Scales in both mm and inches are marked in easy-to-read markings on the two edges of the ruler. The double magnification capability makes this the ideal low vision tool for reading newspapers. In the microscope laboratory, it makes it easier to understand images.
