The PEAK® Brand Microfilm Viewers feature high quality glass optics with a handle designed for insertion of 35 mm film for easy viewing. The 2-group 3-element lens covers the entire frame of the film by compensating spherical aberration despite the relatively high magnification. The makes the PEAK Microfilm viewers ideal for viewing not only microfilm and microfiche, but also other films such as x-ray film as well. A scale of 30 mm with 1 mm divisions is photoengraved in the viewer but is positioned in a way that does not obstruct the field of view.
The viewers are also designed from the stand point of minimizing eye fatigue when working for long periods of time with the viewer.
A very smooth turning precision focusing ring makes for easy focusing of the magnifier.
