Some important slide "hints":

All glass microscope slides, with time, can develop a condition called "glass corrosion", that is, the surfaces start to take on a slightly discolored and frosted appearance. This is a characteristic of all microscope slides. So far as we know, there is nothing in the way of storage conditions that can forestall that phenomenon. That is why we suggest not purchasing slides in quantities that larger than what you are likely to use in one year's time. We want to make clear that the SPI Supplies microscope slides are no different in this respect than anyone else's slides but is a condition to which we want our customers to have some awareness.

Also, the slides are times have been known to "stick together" and seem to pose challenging problems in terms of separating them. Again, this is a generic problem with all glass microscope slides and we offer some suggestions for their separation.
