The "Mini-Comparator", while lower in price then other magnifiers and comparators, is very accurate and is a precision optical instrument. Compared with some of our other magnifiers, the Mini-Comparator is smaller and more convenient for carrying around, both in and outside of the laboratory.
The doublet type achromatic lens displays an outstanding resolution with minimal distortion. The focussing function is smooth, the result of an innovative multiple-thread type screw design. Each unit comes with a No. 8 scale reticle as standard, SPI #02238-YA, 0-20 mm scale (0.1 mm divisions).
