While high quality optics for magnifying is important, the quality and
uniformity of the illumination source is just as important if not more so.
The Illuminating Loupe Type A has been designed from the very beginning to
permit the best possible viewing of delicate samples being prepared for
microscopy or other fine operations and procedures. It can also be used
to study an object with sufficient light while keeping your hands free.
A ring shaped fluorescent lamp is positioned around the lens providing
uniform illumination while a shade shields the viewer from undesirable
levels of illumination. This design results is much reduced levels of
eye fatigue of the type experienced with the use of lower quality systems.
Horizontal, vertical, and rotary movement of the lamp/magnifier gives a
greater efficiency for inspection and operation. Auxiliary lens available
as optional item for achieving 5X magnification. |
