Introduction:
The PEAK Zoom Lupe is really a zoom measuring magnifier, all built into one precision manufactured optical instrument. It permits the continuous change in magnification when zooming, all the time being able to measure using the built-in measuring scale. This compact product actually consists of eight difference lenses in 6 groups for the continuous zooming from 8x to 16x. The lupe is designed such that there is always sufficient illumination with the least optical aberration.

Construction:
The lenses are all glass. The black outer body is precision machined aluminum, black anodized, and the movement of the zoom is very very smooth, either when zooming in or zooming out. It has the same precision as a fine camera lens. The built in click stops make for a more convenient selection of magnifications, the stops corresponding to 8x, 10x, 12x, 14x and 16x.

Optional Light Holder:
The light holder is designed to supply just the optimum amount of light on the field being observed. While for many applications the additional light is just not needed, we know from experience that many other customers do need additional illumination. The optional light holder requires two standard 1.5 volt Type C (in some countries: UM-2) batteries, not supplied with the unit.
