General comments:
These eye piece reticles are the Graticules
®
Brand, and we believe, to be the very highest quality available and that one could purchase anywhere.
Different microscopes from different manufacturers have eye pieces of different diameters, the more popular diameters being the ones listed. We can custom manufacture other diameters but the cost is roughly three times higher than the pricing for the standard sizes that are produced in quantity.
Pattern NE1 (Horizontal):
See above scale pattern. This eyepiece graticule has an overall length of 10.00 mm with 100 subdivisions of 0.1 mm. When used with a 10x objective lens, each division will represent 10 µm on the specimen. By dividing the division of the chosen reticle by the magnification of the objective lens one obtains an approximate value that each division will represent on the stage. Products are listed by eyepiece diameters.
