SPI Supplies has pioneered this unique collection of "prepared slides" for teachers, students and those involved
with home schooling and anyone else having the curiosity to view already-prepared slides by light microscopy.
The goal was to provide not only the prepared slide itself, but to have associated with it some descriptive
content as well so that the teacher or student would have a significant amount of explanatory materials so
he would know precisely what was being viewed from the slide.
Presently we offer only biological samples as prepared slides. All are mounted on standard 1" x 3"
(25 x 75 mm) borosilicate glass microscope slides ready for instant viewing. They are prestained at
levels that would be optimum for viewing the structures and information present.
