SPI Supplies Eyepiece Cameras look like an eyepiece. They are easily fitted into the eyepiece tube of your stereoscope or microscope, in most cases without any need for additional mounting devices. Sets up quickly and easily. High quality images to either a computer or TV monitor.

Originally designed for a low budget research laboratory application, we are finding that science teachers purchase multiple units for use in classroom setting, and without breaking their annual budget. They are finding applications in police forensic laboratories where field microscopes are often times used. We fully realize that these cameras are "low end" in terms of price but they are certainly not "low end" in terms of performance. On the other hand, we do not expect anyone will find them to be the equivalent to a high quality Pixera^® Digital Camera.

The SPI Supplies Eyepiece Cameras literally fit right into the eyepiece of any light microscope, either stereo or transmission. If the microscope has an eyepiece, then the camera can be used with it! And this is almost always accomplished without any other mounting devices or accessories. And whether you are using the USB "computer" model or the "TV" version for use with a television monitor, you will obtain outstanding images.

This color camera interfaces directly with your desktop computer or laptop PC. Excellent for image demonstration or capturing images for analysis. Records both still images as well as video. It is equally excellent either for capturing images for demonstration" or for capturing images for analysis. The camera can record both still images as well as dynamic images at video rates.
