SPI Diamond Knife Cleaner

For the life of your knife!

This is an instrument specifically designed to clean diamond knives. It includes a 100 ml beaker and a special holder to clamp an SPI Supplies or any other "standard" diamond knife having a 3/8" (9.5mm) wide base. This means that the cleaner can hold virtually any diamond knife being made in the world today, so long as it is from a major manufacturer. The cleaner itself is a magnetic stirrer operating at 1800rpm and reversing direction twice a minute. It has a six position timer, adjustable from cycles times from 15 minutes to 8 hours. This cleaner does not employ ultrasonics for the cleaning treatment which would otherwise be potentially damaging to the diamond knife itself. It comes with a special fixture for holding the knife and boat up-side-down in the cleaning liquid. This would not be recommended for the cleaning of diamond scalpel blades without the construction of special fixtures.

6" (152 mm) long, 3.8" (95 mm) wide, 2.6" (66 mm) high, increased to 5.4" (137 mm) with the beaker in place.

Electrical:
100-125 V, or 200-225 V, 6 watts power, with a 1/8" easily accessible fuse.
