Especially for those purchasing a Tripod^® Polisher for the first time, we believe you will save a great deal of time and money if you start out on the "right foot" with the right selection of the various consumables you would need to prepare samples.

The Tripod Lab Starter Kit consists of the following items:

Diamond Lapping Film;
plain backed, 8" diameter (1 each of the following sizes: 30, 15, 6, 3, 1, 0.5 痠)
Multitex™ polishing cloth, 8" (20.3 cm) diameter
Glass Plate, 8" (20.3 cm) diameter, 0.25" (6.3 mm) thick
Colloidal Silica, 0.05 痠 particle size, 16 oz (473 ml)
Mounting wax, QuickStart™ 135 crystal clear acetone soluble wax
Squeegee
Slotted TEM grids, Cu, hole size: 2 x 1 mm, SPI #437HC-XA
Sample cleaner, TriClean^® 590
Petri dish, 4" (10 cm) diameter
Filter, VWR brand, Qualitative, 9 cm diameter. One box of 100 pack is supplied. Used for bottom of petri dishes.
Tweezer set includes one pair of tongs and one self-closing high precision tweezers.
Scotch pad abrasive added to one side
