VII. More Comments About SPI-Module Sputter/Carbon Coaters
1. The needle valve, which is the most delicate part of any sputter
coater, is the highest quality available and that money can
buy. It is rugged, built for long time use, and while it is
undoubtedly still possible to "spring" or break it, one has to almost
intentionally do this.
2. The automatic timer, which is the second most delicate part, is
all electric and sputtering is virtually failure-free.
3. With the magnetic design and magnetic sputtering, the SPI-MODULE
Sputter/Carbon
Coater runs significantly cooler and deposits far faster than any other
unit in its class. For example, we can even do a freshly broken piece of
chocolate without melting the fracture surface.
