Magnetometers
Don't be without one of these powerful magnetic field detection devices
No lab should be without a portable magnetometer!
We are talking about instruments and sensors for the measurement of weak
magnetic fields in the DC to 200 kHz range.
Laboratories that own their own magnetometer can save a lot of money in
other wise unnecessary service calls by determining if their problem is
magnetic field related. Lots of things can happen in a large building
housing an SEM or TEM, not the least of which is the development of a ground
feed back look resulting from the deterioration of pump windings. The cost
of the lower priced magnetometer alone can lessen the price of a single
service call!
Of course these handheld instruments are used by engineers, scientists and
technicians to evaluate shielding effectiveness, inspect packages, control
the magnetic environment, and determine the magnetic properties of objects
and measure the magnetic signature of vehicles.
µMAG® Series of single axis magnetometers measure the
vector component of the magnetic field that aligns with its sensitive axis.
FVM400 Vector
Magnetometer is a four line by sixteen character version that simultaneously
displays the three vector components of the magnetic field. The four line
display reduces the number of keystrokes required view real time and
recorded data.
