SPI Aluminum Grids for TEM

Use these fine etched grids for studies requiring inertness and low cost

Use aluminum grids as a more economical alternative than beryllium, diamond, or composite grids.

While it is a fact that there will be seen an AlK line, it is in a predictable location and furthermore, if one is not interested in Al, it can at times be an annoyance of minimal concern. For those working with "filmed" or "coated" grids, it is easier to coat these aluminum grids than composite carbon, but about the same for beryllium and diamond grids.
