TEMVu™

TEMVu™ slides allow you to prepare your TEM window grid for light and fluorescence microscopy prior to performing TEM. Each slide has one TEM window grid supported on a 300 micron silicone gasket which is bonded to a No. 1 1/2 cover glass. The TEM grid will not float away when when submerged with water or aqueous buffer, but can easily be removed afterward with standard tweezers. Removable slide cap reduces evaporation during light microscopy imaging.

With Microporous TEM window Grid

2 micron pores are patterned in 50 nm silicon nitride in a gridded pattern within a single 500x500 µm window. With pores in a specific ordered pattern, the same hole can be easily identified in multiple imaging modalities. TEMVu™ with microporous TEM window grids let you easily culture cells and image the same cells in optical and electron microscopes. This grid is perfect for CryoEM, TEM of cells, and other biological applications.
